
Japanese experimental hardcore/screamo. 1996 - 2003 Kulara started as a trio in 1996. They released a string of EPs and added several members in their lifespan. The first two EPs were mostly screamo. Notably however, their third EP "5 Pieces Songs," would see them delve into experimentation, blending their previous screamo sound and post-hardcore with brutal prog and noise rock, and found them using odd time signatures. The band would continue further in this direction on their fourth EP "A Naked Landscape
