2 different bands with this name: 1) THE ORIGINAL KUBLAI KHAN ( now sometimes called "Kublai Khan MN" ) was an American thrash metal/speed metal band, mostly known due to their connections with Megadeth (guitarist/vocalist Greg Handevidt was a member of Megadeth in 1984). They formed the same year Handevidt left Megadeth and released a demo called Rape, Pillage & Destroy.
