Kozaburo Y. Hirai (平井康三郎, Hirai Kōzaburō), born 10 September 1910, died 30 November 2002, was a Japanese composer. He finished his study violin at the Music School of Tokyo in 1934. He studied with Klaus Pringsheim, before he left in 1936, and he became a violin teacher himself. He composed may pieces for orchestra, piano and traditional japanese instruments.
