About Korperschwache
Korperschwache began in 1995 in Austin as a side project of Autodidact. Where that band was all about drone and strange sounds, Korperschwache (the name is German for "organic decay," the cause of death noted on death certificates of those sent to the gas chambers at Auschwitz) was strictly blown-out junk-noise hell built on the maxim that you can never be too loud or too obnoxious. The first four C-60 cassettes were all heavily influenced by the usual sonic criminals -- Whitehouse, Masonna, Merzbow, Contagious Orgasm, etc.
