About kornelyans
In 1974, Serbian (ex-Yugoslavia) rock band Korni Grupa recorded an album Not an Ordinary Life, under the name Kornelyans, with lyrics in English. This way they were trying to break into foreign markets, but the album passed unnoticed. They were also representing Yugoslavia on the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 in Brighton, UK, with the song Moja generacija. Kornelije Kovač, disappointed with the poor sales of the album Not an Ordinary Life and the bad placement on Eurovision, decided to disband Korni Grupa.
