Kori Pop is a Canadian pop/folk singer-songwriter. Kori’s debut album is not for those who prefer their music black and white ~ “From the Outskirts” is technicolour. Song after song, the listener is pulled into sonic and lyrical landscapes as varied as their creators influences. This girl is not your regular singer/songwriter ~ she is a storyteller. Who does she sound like? Mary Poppins meets Joni Mitchell, may say it best.
