About Koma Mizgin
In 1991, young students of the Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf / Germany founded together a music group called Koma Mizgîn. International music coming from Kurdistan, Netherlands and Germany was the focus of the early band members. Later predominantly Kurdish songs were played at events of German universities. At festivals and events such as at the opening of the Rhine promenade in Düsseldorf's the band's own music was presented. Between 1993 and 1994, an own radio show at the "Bürgerfunk" Antenne Düsseldorf has been produced.
