About Kodjo Senyo
From his Myspace: Born in Lome (Togo) on the west coast of Africa, Kodjo Senyo is a self-taught in music. From a family deeply involved in the traditional song of the Ewe (ethnic group in the south of Togo), Kodjo has grown in a environment where everything was about song; from the celebration of a birth to traditional ceremonies or funerals, music is always present. Later on, together with some friends, he forms a musical group with which he perfomed in Togo and neighbouring countries.
