About Kode9 & The Spaceape
Kode9 is Steve Goodman, who runs the Hyperdub, a London based label specializing in dubstep and post-dubstep. The Spaceape was the moniker of Stephen Samuel Gordon, who passed away on October 2nd 2014 after a 5 year struggle with a rare form of cancer. A vocalist, poet and live performer in the style of Linton Kwesi Johnson, The Spaceape’s collaborations with electronic, dub and out of genre music producers told stories from the next dimension.
