
About Kodály Quartet
The Kodály Quartet was formed by four students at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest in 1966. The style of the ensemble is based on the renowned Hungarian string quartet tradition. The Quartet regularly performs works written by Hungarian composers such as Kodály, Bartók, Dohnányi and others in addition to the standard classical repertoire.
