About Kmeťoband
In early 70's, four brothers founded a group named Bratia (Brothers) as a result of a family tradition. Since 1999 the group of a father Igor Kmeťo and son Igor Kmeťo, Jr. is called Kmeťoband. While the father, Igor Kmeťo is also a manager of the group, the son plays synth and sax. The group is playing mainly romany music or selfdefined "rompop" mixed up with couple of nice funky pieces. Their repertoire is made of arround 250 live played songs
