About Kletka Red
Kletka Red create high energy punk rock originals and covers of classic klezmer tunes. Led by Berlin-based singer and guitarist Leonid Soybelman, the band also includes the drummer from Japan's Ground Zero, Tony Buck, and guitarist Andy Ex, of the Dutch rock band The Ex. Kletka Red released their international debut, Hijacking, on John Zorn's Tzadik label in 1996. They have stunned and impressed audiences at various new music festivals, including 1997's Taktlos festival and Quebec's FIMAV in 1998. ~ Joslyn Layne, All Music Guide
