Klaas van Beeck en zijn dansorkest (tr. Klaas van Beeck & His Dance Orchestra) were founded in 1940 (and disbanded in 1944), in Hilversum, the Netherlands. It was set-up by Klaas van Beeck in response to the AVRO closing down the jazz dance-orchestra he had previously led, the AVRO Dance Band. Klaas van Beeck and his orchestra played on Dutch radio, toured the Netherlands and generated a following. They recorded two 'albums', the first in 1941 for the Kristal label and the second in 1943 for Decca, recorded in Brussels in Belgium.
