About Kite Flying Society
The term "Kite Flying Society" comes from the cult film "Rushmore". Two bands have since opted to use it as their moniker; both bands have parted ways. 1. The original Kite Flying Society is a Screamo band from Orlando, FL, USA. They released a 7" record and a few CDs on various labels: a self-titled 7", self-titled CD on Goodbye Blue Skies Records, 'Jochem' CD on TwentySeven Records, and most recently, 'A Discography' CD on Init Records. Members are now in Ghost Ship And The Gilded Edges and Cobra Starship among others.
