
About Kirsti Sparboe
Norwegian singer and actress (b. December 7th 1946). Sparboe is well known for her Norwegian cover versions of songs by The Beatles, Petula Clark, Burt Bacharach as well as several Eurovision songs. She had a breakthrough in Germany in 1968 which lasted until she withdrew from the German market in 1972. After that her focus was mainly on her Norwegian acting career, as well as some successful recordings during the 70's. Sparboe has ten national participations in The Eurovision Song Contest.
