About Kimmy June
In het mooie Waalwijk, op de warmste dag van 1994, zag een klein meisje met een krachtige stem en een nog groter hart het levenslicht. Kimmy June (Kim van der Gouw) is een Nederlandse countryzangeres en singer-songwriter. Haar muzikale reis begon op vierjarige leeftijd, toen ze het eerste album 'World of Hurt' van Ilse DeLange ontdekte. Vanaf dat moment werd haar liefde voor countrymuziek een onlosmakelijk onderdeel van haar leven. Haar tienerjaren bracht ze door in Oostenrijk, waar ze zich verder ontwikkelde als gitariste en zangeres.
