KiD3RD is an American artist, songwriter, producer and engineer from the San Fernando Valley. He comes from a well known family of musicians. His grandparents are Dick Griffey, founder of SOLAR Records and Carrie Lucas who was a soul singer on SOLAR Records. His mother is Carolyn Griffey of Shalamar. His father is Curtis Baldwin Jr. of the hit TV show "227". His musical influences range from Bob Marley to Kanye West and a wide range of genres. A lot of his production influence also comes from the musicians he grew up around such as his Father
