About Khaled Ben Yahia
Khaled Ben Yahia (خالد بن يحيى), is a Tunisian oud player and composer, born in Tunis in 1963. He moved to Lyon, France, and has forged an international career blending Tunisian Arabic music traditions with contemporary and world-music contexts. According to an article in Le Progrès, he is described as “one of the most talented oud musicians of his generation” and has lived in the Croix-Rousse district of Lyon for over thirty years. His work includes solo performances, collaborations and educational work in France.
