About Kerry Livgren
Kerry Livgren (born in Topeka, Kansas, USA, September 18, 1949) is a guitarist and keyboardist, and the main songwriter, from the progressive rock band Kansas. He is the author of well-known hits such as Carry on Wayward Son and Dust in the Wind, as well as progressive rock classics like Song for America and Icarus - Borne on Wings of Steel. In his solo music he incorporates a lot of different styles with a sense of melody and a focus on Christian lyrics.
