About Keelrider
A 5 piece band from Reykjavík, Iceland hellbent on making good ol’ fashioned heavy metal. Drawing inspiration from a wide variety of sources (stoner, blues, southern metal, grunge, thrash and groove metal to name a few), our sound is a mesh of things we would like to hear ourselves. We’ve recently recorded a 6 track LP entitled “North” which we are very proud of and have worked hard to complete. The record was originally entitled “Slowly Drifting South” then “Gone South” and then finally “North”
