About Katie Chastain
A veteran of the intimate theater, Katie Chastain began her life in show-business as an orphan under the watchful eye of a gypsy organ grinder. By the age of four, Miss Chastain’s voice had an almost magical ability to mesmerize, and it was known to make weathered seamen cry. The child began performing in carnival tents and parlour rooms across the continent and soon drew the interest of Naumeni Yetachi, the infamous master of the Jakarta Illusionista Circus.
