About Kate Maki
Kate Maki is a Canadian folk rock / alternative country singer-songwriter. She was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario, where she was a grade school teacher until the summer of 2003, when she decided to leave her comfortable job and set out to pursue a career in music. She is often compared to Sarah Harmer, Kathleen Edwards and Lucinda Williams.
