With a penchant for poetic lyrics and heartfelt melodies Kate Charnock has traveled from Pennsylvania to DC by way of coffee shops, pubs, and various festivals. Kate is an acoustic folk singer/songwriter who started playing piano when she was five and fell in love with guitar at-the-age of 12. Kate started writing music in college and has developed her own unique sound which can be heard on her independently released EP Paper Wings. Some of her influences include Rosie Thomas, The Decemberists, Laura Veirs, Ani Difranco, and Eisley.
