About Kata Hay
Kata says she can't remember the first time she sang on stage, but does remember her father telling this story: at the age of two, she threw a FIT asking to be entered in a beauty contest, so she could "sing" in the Talent category. He agreed to put up the $50 entry fee to prove to her that she couldn't sing. He had no idea what he was in for ... she ended up winning that contest, going on and winning the National Title "Little Miss Southern Belle" or something like that.
