About Kamel Messaoudi
A slightly sad voice, set on a quiet music chaabi, Kamel Messaoui became known through his theme songs and shocking words. Born in January 30, 1961 at Bouzaréah in a neighborhood on the outskirts of Algiers, he grew up in a modest family of Kabyle origin, packed in a small apartment located on the twelfth floor. Initially, respecting the trilogy of poor (escape through sport, entertainment or trabendo), he is attracted by football. Greatly influenced by his older brother who plays music, he also chose to become a musician.
