From his Myspace.com page: "in 1998 i received my first MIDI recording / editing software. it was Voyetra's Digital Orchestrator Plus... i had no MIDI instruments, but i found i was able to construct entire songs by using only my mouse and the computer's keyboard. in 1999 i bought my first synthesizer, a Roland XP-80. i have since bought and sold many other keyboards and sound modules... but the XP is still my main synth, and MIDI controller. when i first started composing i was very much into orchestral arrangments and piano pieces.
