About Julian Petrin
As the son of an Italian jazz drummer and a singer of Brazilian and jazz music, Julian Petrin took classes in classical piano from the age of six and then moved on to jazz. Songwriting began for Petrin when he was 14. Two years later he formed his own band in Düsseldorf. In 1990 he composed scene music for theater groups in Munich and completed training as a music engineer. As a founder and the creative director of the Hamburg Multi-media firm „urbanista“ he continues his musical endevours in creating sounds for multi-media projects.
