
About Julia Cload
Julia Cload was born in London on October 6th 1946 to a Violist father, John Cload, and a violinist mother. She went to the Royal College of Music and won the LPO concerto competition. Shortly afterwards, she made her debut with the London Philharmonic in Beethoven's 3rd Piano Concerto. One of the highlights of her career was playing Bach's Goldberg variations at the Besancon Festival in 2001. Her recordings of the Goldberg Variations won critical acclaim. However, she remained relatively unknown.
