About Joybells
Not too long after the gospel music came to Sweden, the gospel choir Joybells was born. The year was 1963 and the energy and rhythm which has left its mark in the churches among African-Americans was totally unknown for the Swedish people. Probably that’s why Joybells got popular all around the country pretty fast. Even though there was a lot of criticism against this new type of music, there was no doubt the gospel music had come to stay. Joybells
