About Jorge Lima Barreto
Jorge Lima Barreto began his musical activity in the late 1960’s with a series of interventions in experimental and Jazz music. A graduate in Art History and a doctorate in Musicology and Social Communication Theory, he is also a music critic and theorist, writing many books about music and producing radio programs, lessons, essays, interviews, e.a. In the 1970’s he founded Anar Band, recording electroacoustic compositions with Saheb Sarbib and Carlos “Zingaro”.
