About Jokkmokks Jokke
Jokkmokks-Jokke (may 25, 1915 - oct 22, 1998) was a swedish singer and popular schlager artist in the 50s to the 70s. He had his big break in 1963 with Gulli-Gullan and he had some cameos in a couple of swedish comedies in the 60s. In the 70s he toured USA from New England to Tijuana and Enzenada some way into Mexico. Jokke was a great humanist and he donated the main part of his money made of his music to the sick and elderly. He performed publicly for the last time in Swedish Television in 1993.
