About Johto
Johto was the sextet that recorded most of the songs on the Totally Pokémon soundtrack. Most songs fronted one or two of the members with the rest providing background vocals, with the exception of Pokérap GS, which featured all members equally. Auditions for a "Pokémon pop group" took place in June 2000 in New York. The six members were hand-picked by John Loeffler and his team at Rave Music, who produced and composed most of the music for the U.S. localization.
