About John Stanford
John Stanford is a New Zealand electronic music artist known for combining hypnotic beats with layered, textured soundscapes. His work reflects influences from popular music, hard rock, and later house and dance music. A significant point in his musical development came with the discovery of Robert Miles’ work, which inspired his interest in electronic and trance-based sounds. Stanford began his musical education with piano and guitar and later studied music at Victoria University in New Zealand
