John Pyamour (? - 1431) English composer. A member of the Chapel Royal in 1419--when a benefice at Lufford (Northants) was conferred on him--and from at least 1420 Master of the Children of the Chapel Royal; in 1427 he was in France with the Duke of Bedford. His one surviving motet, Quam pulchra es,is in a mellifluous embellished conductus style, with few strong dissonances, which seems relatively advanced in comparison with the music of the Old Hall MS.
