John Close is a Singer and Songwriter from Belfast, Ireland. He has been involved in Irish folk music since the age of 16 and has toured Ireland and the USA. John still plays locally in his hometown of Belfast with his band. John has also worked with many renowned irish acts such as Christy Moore, Paddy Reilly and Tom Paxton. He has featured on many international, best- selling, Irish folk, compilation albums. John performs many traditional irish folk songs but also writes his own songs.
