Joanes Etxeberri Ziburukoa (“of Ziburu/Ciboure”) was a Basque cleric-writer of the seventeenth century, remembered for a small but influential body of Basque devotional print. Reference works place him in Ciboure (Lapurdi/Labourd), probably born around 1580, and describe him as a parish priest who styled himself “Doctor” in theology. His surviving corpus is commonly summarized in three books: Manual Devotionezcoa (1627), Noelac eta berce canta espiritual berriak (first issued in the 1630s in later summaries)
