Jesus Loves Junkies (aka JLJ) was a band from Tucson, Arizona. From the biography page on the band's (now defunct) website, Jesus Loves Junkies was called a “musical diary or documented exorcism.” The band was formed in late 1994 and their first album was released in the same year. Their last album, titled The Great Escape From Paradise, was released in 1999 and the band parted ways the same year. The name of the band was based on the Karl Marx quote, where he stated that ".
