About Jesterbells
In 1988 Oliver Goetzl founded, together with four friends, the band Jesterbells, which influences were the sounds of Felt and bands of Sarah Records. Since no german record company was willing to accept this band ( despite the growing guitar pop music scene in Germany ), Oliver founded an Indie label called Marsh Marigold Records ( the beginning of another legend ). The 7" EP Rain Keeps Falling was published in February 1989 as the first release of the label.
