Ivor Jerry Moore Born Sept. 21, 1941 in Jamestown, New York. Died October 2015. Started as a trumpet player and doo-wop singer in his teens while living in New York. While at college in Sumter, South Carolina he was jailed for sitting in the "whites only" section of a restaurant. He later joined the Freedom Riders (jailed again in Alabana) and the civil rights movement while also pursuing a music career in New York, Woodstock and then Los Angeles.
