About Jenny Klukken
Jenny Klukken is a marimbist, composer, and visual artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Originally a classically-trained percussionist, Klukken travelled and studied in Europe and Central America to develop her unique sound as an improvising, genre-blending marimbist. Klukken plays the marimba with the versatility of a guitarist or pianist; commanding a space for marimba in the jazz ensemble. Her debut album Color in Motion was released on July 16, 2021.
