Jelly Babies were a British DIY group formed in 1980. The members met through fanzines and tape trading, and converged around guitarist Paul Beveridge in Rainham, Essex. Inspired to record by The Desperate Bicycles, they released a single E.P. in 1981, after which they recorded a number of tapes under the name Sputniks a Go Go. Their song Roller Skate is featured on Hyped2Death's Messthetics compilation #7. "De Nada" E.P. Roller Skate / The Rascal / The Pleasure Of Her Company / Niki Laudas Car /
