
Jean Pâques aka Jean Easter (born 16 September 1901 in Liège , died 19 April 1974 ) is a Belgian musician, composer and pianist, novelty specialist. Jean Easter, pseudonym of Jean-Pierre Pâques, became a ragtime musician after the First World War . In the 1920s , he moved to Paris where he composed his first musical works in the register of novelty piano . In the late 1920s he moved to London where he joined a successful music orchestra.
