About Jay Greenberg

Jay "Bluejay" Greenberg (born 13 December 1991, New Haven, Connecticut) is an American child prodigy composer who entered the Juilliard School in 2002 and has composed numerous works. He came to the world's attention in part through the sponsorship of Juilliard instructor Samuel Zyman, who lauded Greenberg's youthful talent during a CBS News 60 Minutes broadcast on 28 November 2004. "We are talking about a prodigy of the level of the greatest prodigies in history, when it comes to composition.
