About Jasmine Love Bomb
Jasmine Love Bomb formed in the late 1980s in Jack Kerouac's birthplace (Lowell, Massachusetts) when future Abunai! member Kris Thompson got together with ex-Californian guitarist Ed Caspers to hash out (so to speak) a post-punk take on psychedelia. When drummer Joel Harrison (actual last name: Simches) signed on, the essential psych formula was complete: during their first-ever rehearsal, they launched into a rocket-fueled version of Pink Floyd's "Astronomy Domine" after realizing that they all knew how to play it already.
