About Jarvis Cocker
Jarvis Branson Cocker (born 19 September 1963) is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He is best known as the founder, lead vocalist and principal lyricist of the band Pulp, and remained its only constant member throughout the group’s history. During the mid-1990s he became widely associated with the Britpop movement. In addition to his work with Pulp, Cocker has released solo music and presented the BBC Radio 6 Music programme "Jarvis Cocker’s Sunday Service" for seven years.
