Jane’s Addiction was an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985. The group’s most widely recognized lineup consisted of lead vocalist Perry Farrell, bassist Eric Avery, drummer Stephen Perkins, and guitarist Dave Navarro. Jane’s Addiction was among the early alternative rock bands of the late 1980s and early 1990s to achieve significant commercial and critical success, contributing to the broader visibility of the alternative rock movement.
