About Jan Kavan
Jan Kavan studied violoncello at the Conservatory and composition at Janacek's academy of performing arts in Brno with prof. Arnost Parsch and later prof. Ivo Medek. He composed for various ensembles including Ensemble Klang and includes music from chamber pieces to orchestra works. Since 2005 he created many multimedia pieces including live electronics, stage performances etc. As a solist he performed all over the world. Till 2008 he taught at Janacek's academy of performing arts composition of electronic music and interactive music.
