About James Low
Portland roots rock stalwart James Low arrived on the Portland alt-country scene with his dusty debut album Mexiquita in 2000. Then came the James Low Band with Lewi Longmire, Matt Voth, Dave Camp, Marilee Hord and Jolie Clausen. They released the rocking Blackheart in 2002. The next lineup James Low and the Wreck featured Chet Lyster (Eels, Lucinda Williams, Fernando), Allen Hunter (Eels, Mike D, Kleveland), and Derek Brown (Eels, Baseboard Heaters, Fernando), and released the EP The Blackguard's Waltz in 2008.
