About James Kochalka Superstar
Headed by the cartoonist and musician, James Kochalka, James Kochalka Superstar specializes in surreal pop music with sometimes zany, sometimes inspired lyrics. Though sometimes considered a joke band or comedy band, they became somewhat of an online sensation with "Monkey Vs. Robot," from a 1997 album by the same name. They struck again with "Hockey Monkey," from the same album, which became the theme song for the Fox show, "The Loop." Their 2006 album
