Although he is a young, up-and-coming singer-songwriter, Jake Klar sings and writes with an old soul. Based out of Northampton, MA, he released his debut EP in April 2012, but had already been playing around the country for some years, particularly in the northeast and Texas. He was a finalist at the 2012 CT Folk Festival Songwriting Competition and has supported acts like Iris Dement, Poor Old Shine, and Toby Walker.
